In 1991 the Communist Sovjet Union was dissolved. For a moment it seemed that the idea of Individual Freedom and Democracy 'won' history. Ten years later, on september 11 2001, the Free World found out the hard way that its ideas were not as safe as they thought they would be. In this (english) freethoughtvlog Boris van der Ham reads from 'The End of History' of Francis Fukuyama, and claims that on the long run the idea of freedom will 'win'.
